When Lauren got in touch and invited me up to Wellsford to capture some updated family photos, I was just as excited to be catching up with my old childhood friends. It was such a blast getting to spend time with them and their growing families.

We had a relaxed and fun photo session, and then we all sat down for a wonderful dinner together. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the most beautiful sunset painted the sky. So, of course, much to the kids disgust, we ditched the ice-cream had to rush outside and take some impromptu family photos with that gorgeous light. The neighbors had joined us so we threw them into the mix too.

I always love capturing those candid moments and genuine smiles during a photoshoot, and this evening was definitely no exception. It was such a wonderful reminder of the importance of family and creating memories together. Auckland family photographer life is such a fun and rewarding journey, and I’m so grateful to be able to do what I love every day.
