I’m here to spill all the deets about Shania & Jai’s special day filled with so much love and emotion, it even had me welling up a couple of times.
Their wedding was held at the amazing Woodlands Estate . This Historic Home in Gordonton, just outside of Hamilton is a brilliant location for a wedding. The natural beauty of the gardens made the perfect backdrop for Shania & Jai which. The staff there are wonderful, especially the event planner, Estelle!
The weather had been a bit touch and go that day, spring can be really unsettled but by the time we went to start the photo session, the clouds magically cleared, and the most glorious golden light spilled over the estate. It was like a fairytale come alive!
Romantic though it was, we definitely had fun with the bridal party. From the get-go, they had this infectious energy that carried throughout the entire day. Everyone was laughing, dancing, and just letting loose. It was so refreshing to see all the genuine joy and happiness on everyone’s faces.
There was an overwhelming feeling of authenticity and love that wrapped around the entire event. The tearful speeches just tugged at the heartstrings and you could feel the emotions radiating from every corner. It was one of those weddings that reminded me why I love my job so much – capturing these precious moments filled with genuine emotion.

There’s even a fab little cafe on site, & when it’s not closed for private events you can totally grap a coffee at the cafe and tour the house and gardens.
